Zone Out

‘It was in 2012 that a stranger on a train did not ignore my unexpected behaviour, who didn’t walk away, but instead reported it and saved my life.

It had been a year since I’d experienced family tragedy then unexpected redundancy in a short period of time.

This film short is an insight to epilepsy and its many forms as well as a tribute  to that individual that helped a stranger, who was myself,  that day.

Unite: my union, Scotrail and friends across the arts and sciences are key collaborators in this project and I ask that this short be shared as widely as possible to educate our society about this very common, yet rarely discussed condition.
